# Publish event

When you have entered all details to your event, there is nothing left to do but to publish it.

You can publish your event by clicking on "Publish event" at the top right corner. You can copy the link to your event from the pop-up window that appears upon publishing.

### Undo publishing

You can undo publishing your event before the first ticket is sold or there is no sales in progress to it. To retract your event, click on "Live" at the top right corner and choose "undo publishing".

### Hide event

You can hide your event in the event [settings/visibility](/cooltix-support/organizers/event-settings/event-visibility.md) section. Read more on this here:

{% content-ref url="/pages/-MGEkNhmYFiN-U7u23Op" %}
[Event visibility](/cooltix-support/organizers/event-settings/event-visibility.md)
{% endcontent-ref %}

### End sale for event

To completely end sale, you have to set the status of all ticket types to sold out or hidden.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cooltix.com/cooltix-support/organizers/create-event/publish-event.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
